ECS Therapeutics Inflammo-Care supplies full spectrum hemp extract featuring a unique 1:1 cannabinoid blend of 1050 mg cannabigerol (CBG) and 1050 mg cannabidiol (CBD) per bottle.

While CBD is one of the most well-known cannabinoids found in the hemp plant, research is showing unique benefits and bioactivity from lesser-known cannabinoids. Along with CBD, Inflammo-Care includes the “minor” cannabinoid CBG for added effects.

CBD and CBG differ in their chemical structure, thus explaining their unique activities and applications. CBD does not bind to activate the body’s cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2, but rather indirectly antagonizes them. On the other hand, CBG does bind to activate the CB1 and CB2 receptors and also acts as an agonist for the body’s alpha-2 adrenergic receptor. Beyond the similar effects of CBD and CBG, their distinct activities enable them to have some differing and complementary effects on the body.
